Falling Band Historical Lace Collar
This "falling band" in cotton with lace edge is based on a lace collar showcased at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and will turn any renaissance time traveller into a proper 17th Century nobleman.
The collar is made from pure cotton with a linen texture and features a wide cotton Cluny lace at the edge. Handmade and stiffened with potato starch it closes with a cotton ribbon at the front.
The falling band has a short stand-up collar and falls to the shoulder edge. It has a "triangle" shaped back line. If you are looking for a different shaped collar, please have a look at the other listing in the shop or contact me directly.
Please note that the lace edging might vary depending on availability.
Choose between kids and adult neck sizes and I will be in touch to confirm exact neck size and shoulder width.
kids collar (neck circumferences under 33cm) and
adult collar (for neck sizes over 33cm).
Collars can be closed with popper buttons (more practical for kids or quick costume changes) or a string closure (more historically accurate).
