Who is the Tailor to your children's wild dress up closet?
There is a seafarer's chest in my parents' attic full of vintage and hand made costumes.
Some of the costumes date back to the turn of the last century
and - beautifully handmade - have endured generations of wearers.
Missing from that chest was a bird cape. And so - a few years ago now - I made one.
Many capes have since been cherished by children all over the world. And from astronauts to flower girls,
there is a never ending list of things I have been lucky to imagine and make.
That is why I call myself the tailor to the fantastic dreams of your kids' dress-up closet.
My aim is to make high quality, handmade, durable, and unique costumes.
I use a lot of natural fabrics (preferably cottons, silk and linens) and love integrating vintage fabric and patterns.
All costumes have been developed to account for growing and active kids, - just like my own.
